Fentanyl has killed 172 people in Brevard County over 24 months

ABOVE VIDEO: Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey held a press conference on Friday to announce deputies have arrested a couple of suspects in a drug trafficking operation that was conducted late last year.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey held a press conference on Friday to announce deputies have arrested a couple of suspects in a drug trafficking operation that was conducted late last year.

Sheriff Ivey addressed the growing concern of Fentanyl on the streets of Brevard County and across the country. He announced that Fentanyl had contributed to the 172 overdose deaths reported in Brevard County over 24 months.

“Fentanyl is the most addictive drug that I’ve seen in my 42 years as a law enforcement officer,” said Sheriff Ivey.

Deputies arrested the following:

Travis Allen – He is charged him Trafficking Meth (14g or more), Trafficking Fentanyl (4g or more) and Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond is set at $202,000

Jeremiah Adams – He is charged him Trafficking Meth (14g or more). His bond is set for $250,000.
