Melbourne Police, SWAT Team Arrest Suspect After Drug Search Warrant

Melbourne Police have arrested a 38-year-old Thomas A. Summerville after the Special Investigations Unit along with Melbourne SWAT conducted a search warrant of the residence in response to numerous citizens’ complaints of ongoing narcotics activity near the 900 block of Bell St.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have arrested a 38-year-old Thomas A. Summerville after the Special Investigations Unit along with Melbourne SWAT conducted a search warrant of the residence in response to numerous citizens’ complaints of ongoing narcotics activity near the 900 block of Bell St.

Police say 11 individuals were located on the property and detained during the investigation, and several items of drug paraphernalia were located throughout the residence.

Summerville was arrested for an active Brevard County warrant and transported to the Brevard County Jail.
