ORLANDO, FLORIDA (SI.COM) – The Orlando Magic Hall of Fame is set to welcome its newest member. According to Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel, longtime fan favorite Dennis Scott will be inducted into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame on Mar. 23 in a ceremony on the afternoon before the team’s game against the New York Knicks at Amway Center.
After the ceremony, Scott will also be honored during the game.
“Dennis [Scott] still remains one of the elite, long-range shooters in both Orlando Magic and NBA history,” Magic CEO Alex Martins said.
“His ability to shoot from beyond the three-point arc was a major key to our success during his time in Orlando and his records stand to this day. We are proud to make Dennis the next inductee into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame.”
