Tractor Trailer Crashes Into Construction Vehicle on I-95 Near State Road 50

Florida Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a crash involving a tractor trailer and a construction vehicle on northbound Interstate 95, just north of State Road 50 on Friday.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a crash involving a tractor trailer and a construction vehicle on northbound Interstate 95, just north of State Road 50 on Friday morning.

All northbound lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted onto State Road 50.

Crews are working to remove the vehicles and debris.

Troopers say, “miraculously, there were no injuries.”

This crash occurred when the tractor trailer driver failed to slow or move over for a lane closure, according to investigators.

Drivers are reminded to MOVE OVER and SLOW DOWN in construction zones. Had there been a driver in the construction vehicle, the outcome may have been worse.
