(UCF KNIGHTS) – After another brilliant couple of outings, Taylor Hendricks has been named the American Athletic Conference’s Rookie of the Week for the ninth time this season.

Hendricks set the conference record for most Rookie of the Week nods on his seventh honor back on Feb. 13. Since then, he has won three of the last four honors to bring his total to nine.

Hendricks posted 16 points and pulled in seven rebounds in the team’s contest at Temple earlier in the week.

He performed at an even higher level in the team’s 26-point win over ECU, tying his career-high of 25 points and adding 10 rebounds, tallying his fifth double-double of the season. Hendricks now has six games with 20 or more points.

Hendricks leads the conference in blocks with 51 on the year.

He is one of just three players in the country to net 55 or more three-pointers, 50 or more blocks, and 30 or more dunks.
