Eastern Florida State Tennis Keeps Win Streak Alive with Win Over Southeastern University

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team remained unbeaten with a road victory against Southeastern University on Friday.

The Titans picked up the 4-3 win and are 10-0 heading into their final home match of the season on Monday at 11 a.m.

The No. 1 doubles duo of Hugo Car and Lucas Gonzalez posted a win and then the team came back, winning three of the four singles matches.

Car picked up a win at No. 1 singles in three sets, winning the first 6-4, losing the second in a tiebreaker and then posting a 6-4 win in the third set.

Gonzalez won in straight sets at No. 2 singles, winning 6-1, 6-1. Jett Leong won the No. 5 singles match in straight sets.

The Titans will host Fordham University Monday at 11 a.m.
