Man Arrested for Attempted Sexual Battery Incident at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police Department announced on Tuesday that they have arrested 31-year-old William Edward Russell Jr. for his involvement in an incident that occurred earlier today at Lori Wilson Park.

Russell is officially charged with Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Attempted Sexual Battery and False Imprisonment

This is an ongoing investigation.

The arrest of Russell was also assisted by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
