Melbourne Police Special Investigations Unit Detectives Seize Multiple Drugs in Bust on University Boulevard

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office notified the Melbourne Police Department on Wednesday of a residence located at 210 East University Boulevard containing items of contraband.

Melbourne Police Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit responded to the address and obtained information to seek a search warrant.

According to officials, upon approval of the warrant, detectives executed the search warrant and seized the following contraband items:

Narcotics:

■ 1.6 lbs. of cannabis

■ 3.5 gm. of Adderall

■ 2 gm. of amphetamines

■ various items of paraphernalia

Weapons:

■ Glock 19 (9mm) with one magazine and two extended magazines

■ Mini Draco Pistol (7.62 mm) with two magazines and a drum

“Additionally, detectives seized over $4,000 in cash believed to be the proceeds from the sale/distribution of narcotics occurring at this address,” said a Melbourne Police spokesperson.
