Bayside Bears Softball Advance to the FHSAA Regional Semifinals With 4-3 Walk-Off Win Over Okeechobee

BREVARD COUNTY • BAYSIDE, FLORIDA – The No.4 seed Bayside Bears softball team advanced to the Class 5A FHSAA regional semifinals with a 4-3 walk-off victory against Okeechobee.

Senior pitcher Brooke Mahaney pitched an entire game, only allowing three runs and striking out 11 batters.

Sophomore Cayden Platt was responsible for scoring the game-winning sacrifice fly, which brought in Senior Ali Walters for the final run scored.

The Bayside Bears captured their 16th win of the season and will face No.1 South Fork in the regional semifinals on May 16.
