BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Fire District Chief Geanine Dotson has retired after 33 years of dedicated service to the community and its citizens.

Chief Dotson has served in every rank in the department, with her last assignment being District 80 B shift. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to the community have been nothing short of remarkable.

Chief Dotson has been a trailblazer throughout her career, breaking barriers and setting an example for others to follow.

She has been a mentor, a role model, and a friend to countless firefighters, and her impact on the department will be felt for years to come.

“As Chief Dotson begins this new chapter in her life, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for her service and to wish her all the best in her retirement,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.

“Thank you for your tireless work, your unwavering dedication, and your commitment to keeping our community safe. You will be missed, but your legacy will live on.”
