BREAKING: Fire Rescue Crews Discover One Dead After Structure Fire at Ocean Oaks Condominiums in Cape Canaveral

BCSO AGENTS ARE ON-SCENE CONDUCTING DEATH INVESTIGATION

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Cape Canaveral Precinct are currently on the scene of a structure fire at the Ocean Oaks Condominiums in Cape Canaveral.

The fire that was contained in one apartment is now under control after being responded to by fire/rescue elements from the City of Cape Canaveral, the City of Cocoa Beach, and Brevard County Fire/Rescue.

“Unfortunately, while responding to the call, fire/rescue team members discovered a deceased person inside the apartment and Agents from our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are now responding to the scene,” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

“As a result of the pending death investigation, units from our agency will remain “On-Scene” for several hours as our Crime Scene and Agents work the incident,” said Sheriff Ivey.
