Cocoa Police Officers, K-9 Draco Save the Day After Armed Suspect Makes Threats

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Officer Fitzgerald and Officer Moderson with K9 Draco saved the day on Saturday.
Officer Fitzgerald was flagged down by a concerned citizen reporting a juvenile with a gun was making non-specific threats to kill someone.
Officer Fitzgerald, Moderson and K9 Draco responded quickly, located the suspect and took him into custody before he could harm himself or anyone else.
Officer Fitzgerald credits K9 Draco for making sure the suspect didn’t flee.
When the suspect heard K9 Draco barking, he surrendered without incident.
