Courageous Kicks Taekwondo is known for its quality rather than quantity
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Courageous Kicks Taekwondo opened its season with an emphatic demonstration in preparation for the 2023 USCDKA National Championships on July 6 through 8 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
The Courageous Kicks will face the crème de la crème on the bigger stage next month, while others are scheduled to meet on the night of champions. Last year, 26 Courageous Kicks students took on 30 schools and 250 competitors.
The Courageous Kicks was hailed as one of the best Taekwondo schools in the country, and students kicked off the 2022 USCDKA National Championships on a high note, following their victories in the color belt, junior black belt, and black belt categories in Daytona Beach, Florida.
“During this month, we will be doing a mock tournament,” Master Kierstead said. Master Happy Kierstead was inducted as a Hall of Fame black belt role model.
She served under the supervision of Senior Grand Master Edward B. Sell and Grand Master Brenda Sell. She was the first person to win first place in the nation twice, courtesy of three-time Olympian and coach Juan Moreno.
“Students work hard; we told them to play their game to win,” instructors added.
The Courageous Kicks are now playing under an intense spotlight and seeking improvement after their thrilling Fast Kicks tournament debut last February. The experience gained in the Fast Kicks tournament will serve Courageous Kicks Taekwondo in USCDKA National Championships this July.
Courageous Kicks Taekwondo is known for its quality rather than quantity, which is now the talk of the town and beyond.
