The Titans had eight of the 13 sports reaching the national tournament and 11 making the state tournament.
The women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams each reached the national tournament semifinals this season and the men’s tennis team placed third overall with the women’s tennis team also placing in the top 10 in the nation.
“What a great accomplishment for our teams!” Eastern Florida State College Associate Vice President of Athletics Jeff Carr said.
“Our Coaches and the student-athletes worked so hard this past year and competed at the highest level; we had a chance to win several national championships. It was an amazing year for our teams and hopefully, we can build on this and have another banner year in 23/24. I would like to thank the coaches and staff for their sacrifices and success this season. I would also like to thank President Dr Richey and Vice President Jack Parker for their support and vision for our athletic programs and none of this is possible without them. A special year indeed!”
Iowa Western Community College won the Daktronics Cup for the second straight year. Iowa Central was second with Barton Community College third.
