Timothy James Moore, 57, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023. Timmy, as many people called him, was an ace automotive mechanic. He owned and operated Moore’s Car Care in Melbourne, Florida, with his parents. He was also a Machinery Technician and small boat Engineer at U.S. Coast Guard Station Port Canaveral, Florida.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Timothy James Moore, 57, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023.

He is survived by his father James and his mother Gail; sister Lisa; brother Gregory and his wife Thuy; nephew Liam; as well as aunts, an uncle, and several cousins.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and came to Palm Bay, Florida in 1975. He was currently residing in West Melbourne, Florida for the past 30 years. He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Palm Bay, Florida.

Timmy, as many people called him, was an ace automotive mechanic. He owned and operated Moore’s Car Care in Melbourne, Florida with his parents. He was also a Machinery Technician and small boat Engineer at U.S. Coast Guard Station Port Canaveral, Florida.

Timmy retired from the United States Coast Guard Reserves as a Petty Officer First Class after 22 years of service.
Spending time with family and friends brought him the most joy.

As was attending music concerts, listening to classic rock music, and going to NFL football games as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Timmy was a jokester! Always ready with a joke to share while giving you one of his belly laughs that were so contagious.

Above all, he cherished his family. He was a man of many words with a heart of gold. You could always count on Timmy.
He is now in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ and hugging family and friends he has missed so much. We can hear him say with a smile, “This is not goodbye, this is see you again one day.”

His celebration of Life with the United States Coast Guard Honors is on Friday, June 2, at 1 p.m. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at Brownlie and Maxwell Chapel located at 1010 E. Palmetto Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901.

His burial will be located at the United States Coast Guard Veteran Burial on Monday, June 5th at 2:30 p.m. Timmy’s Place of Burial Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754.
