Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Three Vehicles on US-1 in Sharpes

Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on US-1 and Fairview Ave. in Sharpes.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on US-1 and Fairview Ave. in Sharpes.

Authorities say a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Titusville man, 38-year-old Cocoa Man and unidentified driver were traveling southbound around 3:30 a.m. on US-1 near Fairview Ave. when the Titusville man struck the pedestrian who was walking in the southbound lane when the collision happened, the impact sent the pedestrian into the outside lane on US-1.

After being thrown into the outside lane, the pedestrian was subsequently struck by two other vehicles on US-1.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third driver continued driving after striking the pedestrian. Authorities do not have a make or model of the vehicle at this time.
