Rockledge Raiders, Georgia Commit Jaylen Heyward Ranked No. 71 Overall Player in Latest ESPN 300 Rankings

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Rockledge Raiders 4-star safety Jaylen Heyward is ranked No. 71 overall player in the nation in the latest ESPN 300 class of 2024 prospect rankings released on Thursday
Heyward committed to the University of Georgia back in January.
After his decision, the 4-star safety had this to say. “Coach Kirby Smart and Coach (Will) Muschamp and Coach Fran (Brown) showed me a great time when I went up there.”
“They showed me everything I needed to see. At that point, I knew I wanted to go to Georgia, I just had to make it official.”
In his 27 career games at Rockledge, he has tallied 83 total tackles and five interceptions.
Heyward has offers from nearly every top program in the country including Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State to name just a few.
Scout grade for Heyward came in at 84.
Rockledge Raiders first game is set for Friday, August 25 vs. Seminole Seminoles on the road.
