Toppers Craft Creamery Officially Shuts Down in Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Toppers Craft Creamery in Merritt Island is now officially closed on Monday after Sunday was their last day of business.
On Sunday, the owners of the Toppers had this message for their loyal customers.
“It is with great sadness to inform you all that today is our last day of business. We have loved being a part of this wonderful Merritt Island community – thank you all for the many years you have allowed us to be a part of your ice cream memories. Dig up any gift cards you may have and stop on by to see us today”
“Thank you and we will miss you!! Please visit our other locations across central Florida in Valrico, Lake Wales, Apopka, and Zephyrhills (under Dave’s Treats).”
The ice cream shop joins Dairy Queen in Merritt Island on a long list of closures that have hit Merritt Island in the last year as commercial real estate continues to suffer.
The cause of the closure is not known at this time.
