University of Florida Mediterranean Nutrition Class in Cocoa Open for Registration

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The University of Florida will be hosting a cooking class on June 22 through July 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa, located at 3695 Lake Drive. This class follows the Med Instead of Meds program, which teaches participants how to eat like those who live in the Mediterranean region.

This six-week hands-on class series is perfect for anyone looking to improve their eating habits and learn more about healthy eating. Topics covered will include food demonstrations, tastings, tips, menu planning, and more! Participants will also have the opportunity to prepare two recipes each night.
