Eastern Florida State College Student-Athletes Rule! Eight EFSC Teams Receive NJCAA All-Academic Honors

Eastern Florida State College had eight teams recognized among the best academic teams in NJCAAA Division I sports. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College had eight teams recognized among the best academic teams in NJCAAA Division I sports.

The NJCAA recognized teams that finished with 3.0 GPA or better as a total of 1,078 teams were recognized. Eight of the 13 athletics programs at Eastern Florida State College made the list.

The women’s tennis team finished with a 3.60 GPA while the men’s tennis team had a 3.58 GPA. The women’s volleyball team posted a 3.47 GPA while the women’s basketball team had a 3.46.

The women’s soccer team and the women’s golf team each finished with a 3.35 GPA while the softball program had a 3.21 and the men’s golf team posted a 3.20 GPA.

Six of the eight teams also made the national tournament this past season.
