Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Training Division Participates in FLUSAR Vehicle Machinery Rescue Class

The class included extrication and disentanglement operations, vehicle stabilization, the use of hydraulic tools, and isolation of hazards. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Fire Rescue Training Division participated in a recent FLUSAR verified Vehicle Machinery Rescue class.

The class included extrication and disentanglement operations, vehicle stabilization, the use of hydraulic tools, and isolation of hazards. Special thanks to Jacks’ Wrecker Service for donating vehicles.

National Rescue Consultants put on a Structural Collapse Rescue Technician class for BCFR Special Operations personnel at our drill yard facility.

This is a two-week long, 80-hour FLUSAR class that includes breaking and breaching techniques, shoring unstable structures, assisting with crane operations, torch work, as well as lifting and moving debris.
