Christian Care Ministry, with headquarters in Melbourne, administers the nationally recognized Medi-Share health care sharing program and is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the appointment of Brandon Harvath, above center, as its new Chief Executive Officer. 

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Christian Care Ministry, with headquarters in Melbourne, administers the nationally recognized Medi-Share health care sharing program and is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the appointment of Brandon Harvath as its new Chief Executive Officer. 

Harvath, formerly the Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO, brings vast experience and steadfast dedication to the role.

Since joining the Christian Care Ministry team, Harvath has consistently exhibited a profound commitment to enhancing the services provided through Medi-Share.

His appointment by the Board of Directors is a testament to his strategic vision, operational prowess, and unwavering commitment to the organization’s vision to transform society through the biblical model of sharing.

“I am deeply honored to accept the position of CEO,” said Harvath.

His team consists of more than 700 employees, of which approximately 500 live in Brevard County.

Harvath’s family attends local schools and churches and is active in the community where they live. Serving as CEO of this large Brevard County-based ministry gives Harvath an even greater impact on Brevard County.

Harvath’s appointment comes after a comprehensive selection process by the Board of Directors, headed by Chairman Joseph Turner and CEO Selection Committee Co-Chair, Bob Lipps.

“We couldn’t be more confident in the decision to appoint Brandon Harvath as our CEO,” said Turner.

“His extraordinary leadership and dedication have been evident throughout his tenure with us. We look forward to seeing his passion for Christian Care Ministry’s mission translate into ministry-focused success for our organization.”

Under Harvath’s leadership, Christian Care Ministry seeks to increase its service to the church and its impact on its nearly 400,000 members who shared more than 1.4 billion in medical expenses last year alone.

Christian Care Ministry’s 720 employees now set their sights on forging ahead with innovative healthcare solutions that meet the needs of members, all while staying true to their faith-based roots.
