Eastern Florida State College Volleyball Team Nationally Ranked for First Time in Program History

The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will begin season No. 3 in the FCSAA Region 8 Preseason Poll released on Monday. The ranking is the best state ranking to start the season in program history as the Titans finished last season at No. 4 in the poll after a 19-win season and then placed third in the FCSAA/NJCAA Division I Southeast District Tournament. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will begin season No. 3 in the FCSAA Region 8 Preseason Poll released on Monday.

The ranking is the best state ranking to start the season in program history as the Titans finished last season at No. 4 in the poll after a 19-win season and then placed third in the FCSAA/NJCAA Division I Southeast District Tournament.

The Titans are behind defending national champion Florida Southwestern and national tournament runner-up Miami Dade in the poll.

Hillsborough Community College is No. 4 and Daytona State College is fifth.

Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season Friday at Titan Field House, hosting St. Petersburg College at 6 p.m.
