Eastern Florida State College Volleyball to Compete in AWC Invitational in Arizona

Titans are 3-0 and ranked no. 18 in the nation

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will compete in the Chapman Automotive AWC Invitational beginning Friday morning in Yuma, Arizona.
The Titans, who are 3-0 and ranked 18th nationally, will open against the College of Southern Nevada at 2 p.m. EST. It will be College of Southern Nevada’s first regular season match of the season.
Then at 10 p.m. Eastern Florida State College will play the hosts Arizona Western who is 5-0 this season. The match will wrap up on the first day of the tournament.
On day 2, the Titans will play a couple of ranked teams as they will play No. 5 ranked Salt Lake Community College who is 2-2 this season but both losses have been to top seven teams in the nation. The Titans will wrap up the tournament against No. 13 Eastern Arizona who are 3-3 this season.
Eastern Florida State College has won all three matches this season in straight sets and will return home to play Florida State College at Jacksonville on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
