Eastern Florida State College Women’s Soccer No. 4 in Preseason United Soccer Coaches Poll

Titans reached semifinals of the NJCAA National Tournament last season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team is ranked fourth in the United Soccer Coaches national preseason NJCAA Division I poll.

The Titans reached the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season and had 12 wins. They will once again begin the season in the top 5 in the nation.

Defending national champion Iowa Western Community College will begin the season at No. 1 in the poll with Salt Lake Community College at No. 2. Tyler Junior College is No. 3 with Monroe Community College rounding out the top five.

The women’s team will open the home season on Aug. 28 against No. 12 Monroe College and will play No. 9 Laramie County Community College on Sept 3 at Orlando Health Stadium.

Overall, the Titans will play six teams ranked in the preseason poll this season.

Region 8 foe Polk State College will begin the season No. 8 in the poll while Daytona State College is ranked 14th.

The Titans will travel to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Aug. 17 for the season opener.
