Eastern Florida State College Women’s Soccer Ranked No. 4 in NJCAA Division I Preseason Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team is ranked fourth in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll released on Monday.

The Titans reached the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season and had 12 wins. They will once again begin the season in the top 5 in the nation.

Defending national champion Iowa Western Community College will begin the season at No. 1 in the poll with Salt Lake Community College at No. 2. Tyler Junior College is No. 3 with Monroe Community College rounding out the top five.

The women’s team will open the home season on Aug. 28 against No. 12 Monroe College and will play No. 13 Laramie County Community College on Sept 3 at Orlando Health Stadium.

Overall, the Titans will play five teams ranked in the preseason poll this season.

Region 8 for Daytona State College is ranked ninth in the poll.

The Titans will travel to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Aug. 17 for the season opener.
