23-Year-Old North Carolina Woman Dies After Crash on I-95 in Brevard County

A 23-year-old North Carolina woman died early this morning after a three-vehicle crash on I-95 between State Road 528 and Port St.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 23-year-old woman from Selma, North Carolina, died early this morning after a three-vehicle crash on I-95 between State Road 528 and Port St.

The crash happened around 4:20 a.m.

Authorities say the crash happened when the woman was traveling southbound on I-95 in 2007 Nissan Altima when she veered into another lane for an unknown reason and crashed into a boat trailer that was being pulled by a 2006 Toyota Tacoma.

The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and ejected the North Carolina woman from the vehicle. A third vehicle then struck the woman in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
