Eastern Florida State College Cross Country Team Places 6th at FAU Invitational

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s cross country team placed sixth overall at the FAU Cross Country Invitational at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton.

The men’s team scored 194 points to finish one point ahead of host Florida Atlantic. Chase Hill led the men’s team, running a 15-minute, 44.99-second race to finish fourth overall in the 5K race.

Teammate Trevor Cross placed 31st overall with a time of 16:40.56 Carter Vigneri was 57th and Gabriel Garcia was 60th overall, both running the course in 17 minutes.

Nicholas Spence was 64th in 17:45.48 and Anthony Bergnes ran in 18:37.25. Ethan Heise finished in 18:43.07, Colin McAdams ran an 18:54 and Matt Weiler finished in 20:04.17.

Eastern Florida State College will compete in the Southern Showcase on Sept. 15 in Huntsville, Alabama.
