Eastern Florida State Men’s Soccer Prepares for Top-10 Showdown Against No. 9 LSU-Eunice on Friday

Titans are 4-0 and No. 6 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer team hits the road for a battle of top 10 teams in the nation on Friday.

The Titans, who are 4-0 and No. 6 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, will go to Panama City Beach for a neutral site game against No. 9 LSU-Eunice who come into the matchup 5-0.

“It is always good to play against one of the best teams in the country, one of those games where you will get to see where we are at,” Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer coach Adam Butler said. “We have had some good results so far this year and are hoping to keep that going this weekend.”

Eastern Florida State College has allowed just two goals so far this season and has outscored opponents 26-2 after four games.

“We have a good leader back there in George (Wyatt) and the freshmen have come in and taken to their responsibilities quite quickly,” Butler said.

LSU-Eunice has not allowed a goal yet this season and has scored at least two goals in four of the first five games. Three players have each scored two goals for the Bengals.

Friday’s game at Publix Sports Park in Panama City Beach will begin at 11 a.m.
