Eastern Florida State Women’s Volleyball Team to Host Daytona State in Battle of Ranked Teams Saturday

Saturday’s match will begin at noon and admission is free to Titan Field House

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will host Daytona State College in a Citrus Conference match Saturday at 12 noon.

The No. 12 Titans will face No. 19 Daytona State College at Titan Field House in the first meeting of the season. The Falcons have won three of the past five meetings.

Daytona State College is coming off a win against Hillsborough Community College in four sets on Wednesday evening. The Falcons are 11-6 overall and 2-3 in the conference and are led by a trio of hitters who all have over 124 kills this season.

Julia Rienks leads the team with 149 kills while Asia Montagnami has 125 and Emma Testi has 124.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup 8-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference. The Titans are led by Sofia Kamke who has 108 kills this season to go with 76 digs. Libero Gaia Riedmuller leads the team with 112 digs.

Saturday’s match will begin at noon and admission is free to Titan Field House.
