BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Yesterday afternoon, I was honored to join Florida’s Attorney General, Ashley Moody, and other Central Florida Sheriffs at a press conference in Orlando to discuss the importance of Central Florida Crimeline and the amazing success of the program over the past 46 years.
As you are aware, Crimeline is a completely anonymous call center that takes leads and tips on crimes that have occurred throughout central Florida. Crimeline offers a monetary reward for tipsters who help solve cases and find fugitives from justice.
In addition to taking tips on crimes, Crimeline also hosts our Campus Safety App…”Speakout” that is a totally anonymous platform for students, teachers, parents, and visitors to report potential critical incidents that are taking place at school campuses throughout central Florida.
I am extremely proud that Brevard County Schools take advantage of this great reporting tool more frequently than any other county in all of Central Florida.
If you have information relating to a crime, a wanted person, or any type of incident that might occur on one of our school campuses please call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS or download the “Speakout” app today and remember “if you see something, say something!”
