Melbourne Police Special Investigations Unit, SWAT Team Seize Drugs in Raid On East Avenue B

Jarod Parrish, 40, was charged with Violation of Felony Probation

The Melbourne Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team, accompanied by members from the Florida Department of Corrections Probation and Parole, conducted a search warrant on Friday on a residence located at 29 East Avenue B. According to Melbourne Police Lt. Ryan Schorer, Special Investigations Unit detectives obtained the warrant based upon an ongoing investigation into drug distribution and sales coming from this location and arrested Jarod Parrish, 40, who was charged with Violation of Felony Probation.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team, accompanied by members from the Florida Department of Corrections Probation and Parole, conducted a search warrant on Friday on a residence located at 29 East Avenue B.

According to Melbourne Police Lt. Ryan Schorer, Special Investigations Unit detectives obtained the warrant based upon an ongoing investigation into drug distribution and sales coming from this location and arrested Jarod Parrish, 40, who was charged with Violation of Felony Probation.

The search warrant resulted in the seizure of 107 gm of cannabis, 3 rounds of .38 special ammunition, 3 gm of fentanyl, 5 gm of methamphetamines and various items of paraphernalia.
