Motorcyclist Dead, Passenger Critically Injured After Crash in Grant-Valkaria

Motorcyclist identified as 29-year-old man from Palm Bay
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A 29-year-old Palm Bay man who was driving a motorcycle died after an overnight crash in Grant-Valkaria near Valkaria Road and Hideaway Lane.
Authorities say the crash happened when the motorcyclist failed to negotiate a turn and overturned the bike, causing it to strike a concrete culvert around 12:05 a.m. ET on Saturday.
The impact killed the motorcyclist at the scene of the crash.
A passenger who was also on the bike was also critically injured and transported to Holmes Regional.
The passenger is identified as a 27-year-old woman from Palm Bay.
The crash remains under investigation.
