81-Year-Old Titusville Man Dies After Being Struck by Two Vehicles on Wickham Road

Florida Highway Patrol released more information on the fatal crash on I-95 Tuesday afternoon near Wickham Road.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that claimed the life of a 81-year-old Titusville man Friday night on N. Wickham Road.

State troopers say the crash happened at 7:26 p.m. when a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling on N. Wickham Rd. near Interlachen Rd. when the pedestrian was struck on the the inside of lane of N. Wickham Road.

Authorities say the driver attempted to swerve to miss the pedestrian, but struck the pedestrian. As a result, the pedestrian was laying in the roadway before being run-over by another vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
