BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This holiday season, the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) will honor Space Coast heroes with its Veterans Salute Contest to celebrate the return of American Airlines’ nonstop service to Washington D.C. Reagan International Airport (DCA).

The community is invited to nominate local veterans for a chance to win two roundtrip tickets and a $500 Visa gift card.

“We are thrilled to welcome nonstop American Airlines’ DCA service back to the Melbourne Orlando International Airport next year on February 17,” said MLB Executive Director Greg Donovan, A.A.E.

“This is an incredibly valuable route to the Space Coast for both business and leisure travelers, and I cannot think of a more fitting way to celebrate its return than by giving a deserving local veteran the opportunity to travel to our nation’s capital, where they can visit the memorials honoring their brave service.”
