Mims Woman Dies After Bicycle vs Vehicle Crash on US-1

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 37-year-old woman from Mims died Thursday night after she was struck while riding on her bicycle on US-1, north of Glenn Road.
Authorities say the woman was attempting to cross US-1 when she pulled out in front of a vehicle.
The woman was taken to Parrish Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old Titusville woman, was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
