Palm Bay Police have released more information after a dead body was found on October 7 near Absher Way and Sapodilla Dr.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have released more information after a dead body was found on October 7 near Absher Way and Sapodilla Dr.

The victim in this case was identified as 26-year-old Cassandra Blackmon.

Her cause of death is still currently under investigation.

This case is still active and no further details will be able to released at this time, according to Lt. Mike Roberts.

Police say on October 7, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m., the Palm Bay Police Department responded to the area of Absher Way and Sapodilla Dr. where they confirmed a deceased person was found. At the time, no other information was released due to the open investigation status.
