Florida Tech Panther Ricky Fedorchak Earns USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honors

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech’s Ricky Fedorchak was selected to the USILA All-South Region team on Friday, May 17th. In addition, he was also selected as a USA Lacrosse All-American in a release by the magazine.
Fedorchak was named a USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention by the magazine staff and contributors with input from coaches and conferences across the country. in addition, he was named to the USILA DII South Region Second Team as voted on by the regional committee.
The West Friendship, Md. native picks up both honors for the first time in his collegiate career after finishing the season third in all of Division II with 3.33 caused turnovers per game and 50 overall. In addition, he ranked first on the team with 46 ground balls.
The graduate defender closes out his Florida Tech career ranked first in program history career and single season caused turnovers per game averaging 3.33 from 50 caused turnovers in 15 games.
His eight caused turnovers against Embry-Riddle on April 6th tied a single-game program record. With 50 caused turnovers on the season, he ranks fifth all-time with the second most in a single season. with 46 ground balls, his 2.93 ground balls per game are the 7th most by a Panther in program history.
Amongst other accolades, Fedorchak was also named All-SSC First Team back in April.
