Health First Celebrates Opening of Viera OB/GYN Practice with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Located across the street from Viera Hospital, state-of-the-art facility includes 18 exam rooms
BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Health First Medical Group officials and associates joined local community and business leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the Health First OB/GYN office location in Viera.
Located directly across the street from Viera Hospital at 2325 Vidina Drive, the brand new, state-of-the-art facility includes 18 exam rooms, two Non-Stress Test (NST) rooms, and two procedure rooms.
“This facility would not be possible without the amazing team that worked together to complete this project. It truly does take a village, and I want to thank each and every one of you for your dedication and hard work to bring this vision to life,” said Tim Laird, MD, Health First Medical Group Chief Medical Officer.
“This team of physicians, leaders, and associates are so excited about the move to this spacious, newly-renovated facility just around the corner from our new Birth Suites at Viera Hospital. The addition of this new office has gone very smoothly, and the staff is already enjoying the brand-new space. Thank you all for making our community healthier and our medical group better. We are proud to have you on our team,” Laird continued.

In synchrony with Labor & Delivery services opening at Viera Hospital, Health First Medical Group officially opened the doors to its new Vidina Obstetrics and Gynecology office in August.
The new Labor and Delivery unit at Viera Hospital, which also opened Aug. 21, transitions Labor and Delivery care from Cape Canaveral Hospital as Health First has officially begun construction on a new hospital and medical office complex in Merritt Island – approximately 4 miles inland from the existing Cape Canaveral Hospital.
The Birth Suites at Viera Hospital includes 14 spacious rooms for all-inclusive labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum care.
