Keep Brevard Beautiful to Host Final Summer Series Cleanup at Haulover Canal July 26

Keep Brevard Beautiful will conclude its 2025 Summer Series with a community cleanup effort at Haulover Canal in Titusville. Scheduled for Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., the event invites volunteers to help remove litter from one of Brevard County’s most scenic and ecologically sensitive waterways.

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA — Keep Brevard Beautiful will conclude its 2025 Summer Series with a community cleanup effort at Haulover Canal in Titusville.

Scheduled for Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event invites volunteers to help remove litter from one of Brevard County’s most scenic and ecologically sensitive waterways.

Participants will gather at the Haulover Canal Kayak Launch, located on Haulover Road SW in Mims.

Both kayak and land-based cleanup opportunities will be available. KBB will provide kayaks for those wishing to clean up on the water, while land-based volunteers will be equipped with gloves, bags, and other materials to collect litter along the canal’s shores.

The effort is part of KBB’s ongoing mission to promote environmental stewardship and protect local waterways.

Community partners and volunteer groups, including the Space Coast Adventurers Guild and Waterway Warriors, are expected to attend and assist with coordination.

To celebrate the collective impact of the Summer Series, volunteers are invited to an afterparty hosted at Playalinda Brewing Company’s Brix Project in Titusville. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided by the event organizers as a gesture of appreciation.

In addition to the environmental benefits, the Summer Series provides an opportunity for participants to win a new kayak. Those who have taken part in all three cleanup events will be automatically entered into the drawing.

KBB encourages residents of all ages and skill levels to participate in the cleanup and help protect Brevard’s natural beauty one bag of litter at a time.
