TRAFFIC ALERT: Vehicle Crash Leaves Lane Blocked in Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The Florida Highway Patrol has reported a vehicle crash on the Westbound side of Highway 528 at Mile Marker 48 in Merritt Island.

Authorities have been dispatched around 5 p.m., but have not yet been reported on the scene. The crash left the right lane blocked.

The National Weather Service of Melbourne has also reported the possibility of inclement weather in this area through the evening.

Motorists are advised to travel cautiously through the area.
