First United Methodist Church in Titusville Will Host Free Family Friendly Block Party Oct. 11

The weekend’s events are open to all

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The First United Methodist Church is preparing to mark a major milestone as it celebrates its 150th anniversary this October.

Founded in 1875, the church has served generations of families and remains a cornerstone of faith and community in the region.

Festivities will begin on Saturday, October 11, with a lively block party scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will enjoy food trucks, local vendors, live music, games with prizes, face painting, and a variety of family-friendly activities. The event is designed to bring together neighbors and friends in celebration of the church’s long history and ongoing mission.

On Sunday, October 12, the church will host an exceptional anniversary worship service beginning at 10 a.m. The service will be followed by a free community lunch, offering an opportunity for fellowship and reflection on the church’s role over the past century and a half.
