BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Anita Blasky of Merritt Island passed peacefully on Monday, April 13, at the age of 85.
Anita was known for her kindness, grace, and steady devotion to her family. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and she carried herself with a quiet strength and genuine warmth that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She will be remembered as a thoughtful, generous, and dependable presence—a true class act.
She enjoyed hosting family and friends, traveling throughout all 50 states and beyond with her late husband, and finding joy in both adventure and the beauty of everyday life.
Whether watching birds at her feeder, spending time near the water, or simply gathering with loved ones, Anita appreciated life’s moments both big and small.
A member of the Rockledge Church of Christ, Anita remained faithful in her walk with the Lord throughout her life, demonstrating quiet, steadfast devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Venedia Roberts, her sister, Bonna Roberts, and her husband, Michael Blasky.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Rowell (Linda) and Tim Rowell (Kelly); her grandchildren, Amber Holloway (Wesley), Allison Rowell (Travis), Drake Rowell (Lindsey), and Madison Turman (Alex); and her great-grandchildren, Dylan Schick, Nathan Lane, Charles Schmidt, and Jordyn Lane, along with her extended family and all those who were blessed to know and love her.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2, at Rockledge Church of Christ, 2390 S. Fiske Blvd.
