8 A.M. NHC UPDATE: Predicts Irma Landfall In South Florida, Tracking To Come Up Center of State
Hurricane Irma is centered as of 8 a.m. EDT about 80 miles northeast of Locrecia, Cuba, and about 450 milessoutheast of Miami. Irma is moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph, and this motion is expected to continue for the next day or so with a decrease in forward speed.
