Workshops Examine Future Public Transportation Needs

BREVARD COUNTY •  VIERA, FLORIDA —  Space Coast Area Transit will conduct two open house-style public workshops next week as part of its effort to develop an update for its 2013/2022 Transit Development Plan.

The workshops will review area transportation plans and will invite public comment about how to make public transportation work better in communities throughout Brevard County.

Workshops will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 pm. Monday at Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, in the second-floor Space Coast Room and also from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hammock Landing Transfer Station, 225 Palm Bay Road in West Melbourne on Tuesday.

Monday’s workshop will be hosted in coordination with the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization.
