Valentine’s Festival Arrives Saturday In Titusville

Includes Free 'Movie In The Park'

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department, North Area, is hosting a Valentine’s Festival featuring a free Movie in the Park this weekend.

The event begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at Chain of Lakes Park, 2300 Truman Scarborough Way, in Titusville.

The movie “HITCH” will be shown on a giant, 23-foot, outdoor movie screen and is rated PG-13. Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, food and drinks to enjoy during the movie.

Concessions will be available for purchase.

A coed softball tournament will be played starting at 9 a.m. and the fee for the tournament is $120 per team.

A couples corn hole tournament will be held at 4 p.m., with a fee of $10 per couple. All couples for the corn hole tournament must be coed and awards will be given for each tournament.

Advertising opportunities are available as local sponsors will help make this a continual event. A minimum of four movies will be shown per year. Sponsors will be advertised prior to the movie on the movie screen.
