Annie McFarland Prepares For Miss Florida Teen USA

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Annie McFarland was crowned Miss Space Coast Teen USA 2014 last March, and is now preparing to compete in the Miss Florida Teen USA 2014 in October.
“As Miss Space Coast Teen USA 2014 I have qualified to compete at the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant held in Hollywood, Florida later on this year,” said McFarland.
“I’m very excited to start a new journey representing our beautiful county, and look forward to helping in the community and making a difference.”
McFarland is available for appearances, modeling and volunteering at events, and you can also support her for the upcoming Miss Florida Teen USA 2014 in October by advertising in the Miss Florida Teen USA 2014 Program Book.

FANTASTIC ROLE MODEL
As McFarland prepares for the state pageant she plans on working with several charitable organizations as well as volunteering throughout the community.
“I am all about being a fantastic role model as I love working with children at my church youth group, and helping homeless animals find families with Pet Rescue by Judy.” Said Annie McFarland
McFarland says that aside from helping better our society, she spends much of her time on her school work as she is in honors and advanced placement classes at her local high school. Annie McFarland is dedicated to her education as well as her local community, as well as being an avid photographer and traveler.
EXCITED TO START A NEW JOURNEY
“I have traveled to 12 countries and one of my life goals is to travel to every country in the world,” said McFarland. “Being born in Hamburg, Germany to a Peruvian mother and an American father I have learned to appreciate different cultures which has impacted my love for traveling.”
McFarland speaks German, Spanish and English fluently and is currently learning French.
“I have two donkeys and one mule, and I play mellophone and French horn in my high school ‘Band of Gold.’ As you can probably tell, I am not your typical pageant girl.” said Anne McFarland.
“I am very adventurous, a bit quirky and I love to have a great time meeting new people and new places. I am honored to be Miss Space Coast Teen USA 2014.”
