EFSC Volleyball Falls To Polk

first home match of the season set Tuesday

ABOVE VIDEO: The Eastern Florida State College Titans competed as Brevard Community College until the institution changed its name on July 1, 2013. The 2013 fall season will be the team’s first as the Eastern Florida Titans.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College’s volleyball team lost 26-24, 18-25, 20-25, 19-25 to Polk State College in Auburndale on Thursday night.

EFSC fell to 3-2. Polk improved to 4 -1.

Next up for Eastern Florida is its first home match of the season, 7 p.m. Tuesday against Daytona State College at the Melbourne Campus gym.

Eastern Florida then hosts a tri-match on Saturday, Sept. 7, playing Webber International at noon and Florida State College Jacksonville at 4 p.m.

FSCJ defeated Eastern Florida, 3-0, in the season opening FSCJ Kickoff Classic on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Admission to all Eastern Florida home matches is free.
