BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Brevard County Animal Services & Enforcement Department invites members of the public to show some love to sheltered dogs, cats and rabbits at its two Animal Care Centers by participating in a special Valentine’s Day adoption promotion from Feb. 9 through Feb. 15.

“Do something really special this Valentine’s Day,” BASE Director Karla Torpy said. “Save a life right now and you will be rewarded with a lifetime of unconditional love.”
The County is reducing the adoption fee for dogs, cats and rabbits to half price during the week of Valentine’s Day and further reducing the adoption fee to $14 for all adoptable animals on Feb. 14. The adoption fee covers an animal’s first round of vaccinations, heartworm testing for dogs or feline leukemia testing for cats, microchip identification, spaying or neutering and a County license tag. The regular adoption fees are $70 for cats and $80 for dogs.
THE PROMOTION ENDS FEB. 15
