New Devereux Titusville Campus Will Ultimately Offer Variety of Residential, Foster Care and Community Support Services
BREVARED COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Devereux Florida is pleased to announce that after 27 years serving children and adolescents in Brevard County, Devereux is expanding services to the north Brevard community.
Devereux Florida was invited by the Board of County Commissioners for Brevard County to lease and repurpose existing property to accommodate therapeutic residential services to children in Titusville.
Devereux Florida, a part of the Devereux Foundation founded over 100 years ago, is a leading non-profit provider of behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and child welfare services to children and families in Florida.
The Devereux staff of more than 1,000 touches the lives of over 13,000 families on an annual basis.
Founded over 100 years ago, Devereux has blossomed from a single school into a multifaceted national organization.
“What has excited us most about this opportunity is that we will be able to move an existing therapeutic residential program to a spacious 11 acre campus,” said Eva Horner, Assistant Executive Director of Devereux Florida.

“Our investment of $300,000 in this campus will allow us to provide each boy their own room and increase the number of children we serve through residential services in Brevard County. Connecting the children to the outdoors through this large campus will facilitate healing in a unique way.
“As the sole foster home licensing provider in Brevard County, we also intend to use this campus as a foster parent recruitment and training center serving north Brevard County. We believe that there are many families who are interested and willing to open their hearts and homes to children in need of foster care and hope that our physical presence in Titusville will turn this interest into a reality.”
The new Devereux Titusville Campus will ultimately offer a variety of residential, foster care and community support services, including the capacity to accommodate youth in a residential setting with private rooms.
Specialized therapeutic programs and services will also be offered on campus including the recruitment of new psychiatrist, therapists and support staff to the area.
